Every campaign page has a 'Report fundraiser' option. Our trust and safety team reviews all reports within 48 hours. Campaigns found to violate our policies are removed and affected donors are notified.
All fundraiser organizers must create a verified account with a valid email address. Organizers agree to our terms of service, which include obligations around honest representation and use of funds.
Look for campaigns with a photo that matches the story.
Check if the organizer has posted updates — active communication is a good sign.
Prefer campaigns run by people you know, or that have been shared by mutual connections.
Read the story carefully. Vague or inconsistent details can be a warning sign.
